Tim is a filmmaker with a background in grassroots theatre that spanned Canada, America, Germany, Japan, and Latvia.
He wrote the award winning Fear & Trembling directed by Jeremy Ratzlaff. His directorial debut A Priest Walks into a Bar has garnered awards and festival selections on three different continents.
He is proud to be one of Yorkton Film Festival’s 2025-26 filmmaking mentees sponsored by RBC and a member of the 2026 ScreenSask Writers Room fellowship. He is also a founding director of the Moose Jaw Film Festival.
His first love is writing and he has found incredible joy in mobilizing artists to tell stories that deepen self-understanding and promote empathy.
